Today, little brother Jason came home for a short visit to vote. Its kind of become a tradition with us to go and vote together (not sure why...it just works out that way). Today we stood in line for about an hour to cast our ballot and got in some great catching up time. With his move to Alaska coming up soon it was nice to hang out and talk politics, life and all those other little things. Makes me just miss him more. Anyway, we had a blast and the kids enjoyed seeing him, too.
Public Service Announcement: GO VOTE! I think that this presidential election is so very important to all Americans. I'm completely hooked on FOX News these days. The entire election has become totally out of hand, IMO. It's a shame that so many of us are divided over so many things. I, like most of you, have very, very strong opinions when it comes to politics, but I'm a terrible debater so I certainly won't go in to that here! And, to think that I was going to be a lawyer! Ha. Anyway, I have to admit that I am scared for us and for America. Without naming names, I will tell you that one of the candidates really scares me. I just feel like I need so much more information on him before I could even think about voting for him. So, for me it was a very, very, very clear choice. I think that is the true premise of America...we have a choice.
Go vote!
