Please be patient...

I feel like this is the story of my life here lately. ;)  Our router got zapped in a pretty powerful lightening storm on Sunday morning AND I've been without Internet service for several days.  That does not fare very well with a gal who thrives on the Internet!  Hopefully all will be restored and back to normal in a day or so.  I feel like we are fairly lucky as we at least had the sense to have all of our laptops/computers unplugged once we knew the storm was bad.  Several of our neighbors had even worse issues (fried network cards, etc.).  We live on a high hill and I guess that we are just a friendly looking little hill for Mr. Lightening. :)  In the meantime, just waiting on one or two little things and the kits will hopefully ship out on Monday.

Have a great rest of the week!

Please be patient...

It has great Spring and Summer colors and just makes you wanna smile. ;)  Anyway, shipping is on time this month (yes, I said "on time").  I hope to have a kit pic up by at least Monday, but contents should be posted here on the blog and on the website in the next day or so.  Hope you enjoy it!

I think that I need a V8 ;)

Geez.  I am worn flat out here lately.  I feel like I've been on the go for a week now and just need to get some sleep!  I PROMISE that I will have kit news for you very soon!  I am holding out for something that I hope will be good!!!

On the home front:
*We are highly anticipating the wedding of little bro and Brittany in just a few short weeks!  I think that we will all need a vacation after it is over!  LOL.  I'm so excited as I'm sure that the happy couple are, too.   This past weekend we had the bridesmaid's luncheon and did the Victorian cake tradition of pulling a ribbon out of a cake with a charm attached to the end.  Wouldn't you know that I would pull the pacifier out?  Supposedly it means that I'm up for another child in the near future.  LOL.  Sean wasn't quite so amused.  Ha.

*Jack finished up his school year last week with a bubble party and I have to admit that I'm a bit sad to see it end.  It will start back up in the Fall with Eli going to Mother's Morning Out, too.

Jack and Eli are turning out to be two little hams.  They get along very well.  However, today Jack was playing in the floor and Eli was crawling all over him (as usual) when I heard Jack scream and push Eli off.  Eli had BIT him!  Even funnier (probably not so funny to Jack, mind you) was the fact that Eli thought that Jack's butt was a big 'ol piece of meat!  Yep, he bit him on the bottom so hard that it left a mark even through the poor kid's diaper.  The mark of Eli!  Jack wanted nothing to do with him for a while...can't say that I blame him, huh?

We've been doing lot's of playing outside here lately and are in the middle of a deck/yard renovation of sorts so I'll be happy once that is complete!  Anyway, enjoy the pics and I'll be back very soon (hopefully later today) to tell you about the upcoming kit!

Good Stuff

Happy Monday!  Wow!  What a week it has been!

The new website is "viewable."  Is that a word?  It is live, but there are still many things that need to be done before it is an active website.  Links are still being connected and there are some things that you can't even get to yet.  So, please be patient with us.  It will probably take a few days to get it all going.  Plus, it is about to be time to debut the new kit so it is a crazy week to get all of this up and running.  What were we thinking!?  In the meantime, should you need anything (contact us, place orders, etc.), please email us here.    I should have new kit news tomorrow or Wednesday.  We will probably start mid-month billing and mid-month shipping this month too instead of the usual first of the month billing.  I have a great kit lined up for May...it is yummy.  Also, thanks for all of the emails about the April kit.  Seems like you guys liked that one a lot!

In our house last week we had three out of four little ears with an ear infection and one case of pink eye.  Lovely, huh?  Plus, all of this happened two days before I was to leave for the state tennis tournament.  It's always hard to leave two precious little boys for a few days anyway, much less when they are sick.  We had a decent tournament.  I won one and lost one (I hate to lose tennis matches!).  However, the girl that I lost to was really good (that soothed my ego a little bit...ha) and hit really hard.  I was winning in the beginning and then she came back and let me have it!  ;)  Oh, and I came home with a really bad dose of sun burn even after a ton of sunscreen...oh the joys of being pale!   My teammates think that I had sun poisoning, but I'm in denial about that one!

We also had two graduations last week.  Little bro and soon-to-be sis Brittany graduated from college.  Aren't they cute together?

So, now we can concentrate on their upcoming wedding (June 14).   It has just been crazy here lately!

More soon...have a super day!

Out of the building...

Happy Friday from Augusta, GA!  My tennis team advanced to the USTA Georgia State Tournament this weekend with the finals being on Monday (wish us luck!).  I'll be checking emails regularly...
I'll try to post again today with new website and May kit news!
Have a super weekend!

Shipped!

I have NEVER in my life been so excited to see all those kits ready to ship!  So, if you have already ordered it is on its way!  By the way, the website may become a bit weird over the weekend as we are getting ready to upload the new site to the server.  Wish us well.  As always, with any new site, there might be glitches at first so hang with us. ;)

If I were a cursing woman...

well, I'd certainly be doing it by now!  I had posted last week that we would be receiving the Scenic Route clear stamps for the APRIL kit last week.  Well, as is the story of my life here lately, they came TODAY instead.  Someone dropped the ball (twice in the past two months) and it has delayed our April kit greatly.  We normally like to ship at the end of the month...not the BEGINNING of the next month!  HELLO!?  So, with that said, we are packing like crazy tonight and the next day or so to get all of the kits shipped to you all.  Hopefully everyone (except APO, International, etc.) will have a kit in hand by the weekend.  Please accept our apologies.  If I had known that this were going to happen I would have substituted a product and got the kits out much quicker.  Please don't shoot the messenger.

Assisted Living Meets the Wells' Boys (and may never be the same again)

Happy Friday.

Wow.  What a week.  I'm just plain exhausted.  The new website is kicking my booty...seriously.  It's now 1:30am and little bro and I have been web-conferencing for over an hour working on it.  I am going to reward myself big time once this baby is complete.  I'm thinking maybe a new pair of shoes or something.  However, as long as it has taken us maybe I should reward myself with something even bigger than that...a car, a house.  LOL.  Kidding, honey.  Where do we stand now?  Jay is now working on our gallery where the new DT will upload their layouts.

OK, on to much more enlightening topics.  Jack has been sick this week with terrible, terrible allergies (we live in a horrible allergy valley) and with that comes breathing treatments which are ever so lovely.  Hate them.  However, I know when Jack feels crappy because he actually said, "yea!" when I got the machine out this morning knowing that it would make him feel better.  Eli had his 9-month check-up today.  It was murder.  Poor kid.  He got his finger pricked twice and they had to squeeze it to pieces to get enough blood to fill the little vial.  He was pitiful.  Cried his little heart out and mine about broke.  We love this pediatric group; especially Dr. Rifai, but I think that Eli probably wanted to just knock that smile right off his face after this appointment.  ha.

On a side note, when Sean dropped Jack off at school this morning he said that they were making Mother's Day gifts.  He wouldn't tell me what it was, but I am soooooo way excited about  it!  I really just am giddy with excitement.

After school, we had lunch with my Dad and headed to see my Grandmother in her new assisted living facility (if you've been reading you know that my family was struggling with the decision, big time).  It was a super nice place that kind of reminded me of a more than decent  hotel.  Anyway, she has this great balcony on the second floor and it had some awesome light in the afternoon.  Jack and Eli played their hearts out and I got some really cool pics.  I'll share them below, but they haven't been edited yet so they might not look so hot.  I was so proud of them as they  behaved perfectly!  Some points worth mentioning that might be found amusing: Jack thought it was cool to check out Grandma's bathroom while she was "using" it, he left her a row of Matchbox cars by her sink to enjoy while she washed her hands, actually *thought* about pushing his cars off of the balcony just to see if Pappy would retrieve them from the bushes below (I have to admit that I was secretly hoping for this one because it would have made for a fabulous blog moment).  He took the rocker cushions and played "tent" with my Dad.  He thought that was cool.  ;)  Wondering if it might be nice to do some type of little scrapbook project with the residents where everything was pre-cut and ready to adhere into a little album.  Might be kind of fun and would probably make my Grandmother proud, huh?  Plus, it might be good to coax her out of her room and socialize with the other folks.  Anyway, long day and a long night to come, but I've got dark chocolate beside me so I should be good to go for a while (well, Starbuck's would be better, huh?).

Enjoy the pics and have a super weekend!  Oh, and if you happen to see Eli wearing all sorts of different hats in upcoming posts it is because his Big Bro is going through a hat fetish and putting them on him (including the visor below...hilarious!).

Design Team News ;)

Congrats to Jessica Turner!  We are all so excited to have you on board!  And, don't you just hate seeing and hearing yourself on video?   Jessica was such a sport and I was such a dork.  LOL.  Anyway, more DT news to come as soon as the website is complete.  We are almost there!  Oh, and just in case you didn't know, what you see on the ShelleyBelle site right now is not even remotely close to the finished product!  Happy Monday!
